Slovenská elektrizačná prenosová sústava
Slovenská elektrizačná prenosová sústava (SEPS) is the operator of the transmission system in Slovakia, responsible for the safe and reliable transmission of electricity across the country. Established in 2002 after separating from Slovenské elektrárne, SEPS manages the Slovak Load Dispatching Office and plays an active role in international electricity interconnections as a member of the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity (ENTSO-E).
SEPS has focused on strengthening international high-voltage interconnections and investing in substation infrastructure, including several major 400 kV projects at the borders. While their core activities center on AC transmission, there is no public indication of large-scale HVDC projects directly managed or operated by SEPS at this time.
