Réseau de Transport d'Électricité (RTE)
RTE is the electricity transmission system operator of France, responsible for guaranteeing electricity supply throughout the country at all times with consistent quality of service through its 10,025 employees who manage the high and very high voltage network spanning nearly 100,000 kilometers of overhead lines and 7,000 kilometers of underground lines.
As an industrial operator of the energy transition, RTE optimizes and transforms its network to connect new consumption points and low-carbon electricity production facilities, including managing the most extensive network in Europe with 37 interconnections with neighboring countries.
