Norwegian Energy Partners (NORWEP) is a non-commercial foundation jointly financed by the Norwegian government and industry, dedicated to supporting and assisting the internationalisation of the Norwegian energy sector. Acting as a catalyst, NORWEP connects Norwegian companies with international businesses and governments to strengthen long-term value creation and employment in Norway’s energy industries through focused global initiatives.

Within the HVDC sector, Norwegian Energy Partners promotes and supports the export of Norwegian technologies and solutions, including specialized equipment such as cooling units for HVDC converter stations, by facilitating cooperation between Norwegian suppliers and international projects.
