Grid United
Grid United is an independent transmission company focused on developing next-generation energy infrastructure to create a more resilient and efficient electric system across the United States. The company is actively engaged in large-scale projects and collaborations to connect regional energy markets, increase grid reliability, and support the integration of renewable energy sources.
Grid United is a key developer of high-voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission lines, most notably leading the North Plains Connector project, which aims to be the nation’s first HVDC link connecting three regional electric markets. Additionally, the company is developing several other HVDC lines in western states to enhance grid interconnections and facilitate the movement of clean energy between regions.
