Transelectrica

Transelectrica is the Romanian electricity transmission system operator, responsible for the secure and efficient operation, maintenance, and development of the national high-voltage power grid. As a key player in the Romanian electricity market and a member of ENTSO-E, Transelectrica ensures the balance between electricity supply and demand, also facilitating electricity exchanges with Central and Eastern European countries.

Transelectrica's core activities focus mainly on AC transmission and market operations; there is no specific indication that it currently operates or develops high-voltage direct current (HVDC) infrastructure.
