About

SunCable

SunCable is an Australian renewable energy company developing the Australia-Asia PowerLink (AAPowerLink), an ambitious project that aims to deliver renewable energy from the Northern Territory to Singapore and other markets through what would be the world's largest solar plant, largest battery, and longest submarine power cable.

In the HVDC space, SunCable is planning to establish an advanced manufacturing facility focused on 525 kV-640 kV HVDC subsea cable systems, which will span 4,300km to connect Darwin with Singapore, supporting Singapore's goal of importing at least 4 GW from low-carbon sources by 2035.
