NamPower
NamPower is the national electric utility of Namibia, responsible for the generation, transmission, and distribution of electricity across the country. It supplies bulk electricity to regional distributors, mines, farms, and local authorities, and is a key participant in the Southern African Power Pool, ensuring energy security and supporting economic development in Namibia.
NamPower owns and operates a world-class transmission system spanning over 25,000 kilometers and invests in strengthening its grid and integrating renewable energy, but there is no public record of current involvement in HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) projects.
