Litgrid
Litgrid is the Lithuanian electricity transmission system operator that manages electricity flows across the country, maintains stable operation of the national power system, and implements strategic projects in the power sector. As a public company with 97.5% of shares owned by EPSO-G, Litgrid controls over 7,000 km of overhead lines, more than 200 transformer substations, and 17 interconnectors with other countries.
Litgrid is involved in HVDC projects including the NordBalt link with Sweden, the LitPol Link with Poland, and the ongoing Harmony Link project, all of which are part of their strategy to integrate the Lithuanian electricity network with Continental European grids.
