Elektro-Slovenija, d.o.o. (ELES) is Slovenia’s national electricity transmission system operator, established to manage and operate the country’s electric power transmission network. In the area of HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current), Elektro-Slovenija has been involved in activities related to cross-border electricity connections and grid stability, supporting advances in interconnection capabilities and modernization, although its network remains primarily based on AC transmission lines.
