ENTSO-E

ENTSO-E, the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity, is an association representing 40-42 TSOs from 35-36 European countries, supporting the coordinated operation of over 312,000 kilometers of transmission lines and serving more than 530 million consumers. ENTSO-E is responsible for developing standards, network codes, long-term network plans, and facilitating technical and policy cooperation to ensure secure and efficient electricity transmission across the continent.

In the field of HVDC, ENTSO-E actively coordinates the planning, operation, and development of HVDC interconnections and offshore connections, sets related technical standards, and publishes regular statistics and reports on HVDC utilisation and system availability to support integration of renewables and cross-border electricity exchange.
